Hello All,
    I have a D-Link wireless network between my dedicated machine control PC and my office PC. Almost anytime I have Mach up and try to do anything over the network I lose my connection. Any words of wisdom on how to fix this? Would I have better luck if I hardwired the network? The two PCs are only about 30 feet away from one another. I went wireless for the isolation in the event of lightning.

Yes, I do have a slow zone set. I have inserted a screen shot for you to see. ( A friend told me about this cool program ). When running code, when it gets in the zone it just stops, no slow down. You do not have to hit reset to jog ( as with E-Stop ) but there is deffinatley no slowdown.

Yes, I'm running version 1.84.xx, the lockdown. When running a program it does not slow down to a stop. It is more like an E-Stop than softlimits. I knew creep-pea had been trying to get this worked out. I just didn't know if it was in the latest version.

I watched the video. Yes Mach 3 can control the axis to duplicate these motions. You will have to generate the G-code. I think Mach has a code generating program called Lazycam that you could use for this. ( I'm not sure, I haven't had time to try it yet.) I use Artcam. You may want to look at it also. I think it would be right up your alley. You can download Mach and simulate a run without the machine. The free download will run 1000 lines of code before lockout. I may be wrong, but to simulate I think you will have to install drivers also. If you don't already have a dedicated PC for this, back up your whole system first. I think Mach takes almost complete control when it comes up. This can do funny things.
