Downloaded version 2.0.007 today. Softlimits still do not slow down while running a program. Just a sudden stop. It does give me a warning. If I run anyway, BAM, sudden stop.

I got it Hood,
I downloaded the latest version of Mach. Used my old screen set. Also downloaded screen 4 to mill PC and used it to change GOTO Z button. I had set it up as Gcode yesterday. Changed it back to function, Go to zeros. Went to config., did the safe Z setup. All is well in the universe.

I meant to add this earlier. If you are like me, I have a shortcut to Mach on my desk top. If you will right click on the icon, click properties, you can modify your target name to this. Just replace the Mach3.exe with keygrabber.exe. When you click on the Icon now it will go to Mach through Keygrabber.

Had a look at the Quill drive. That should work. Looks good.

First, you need to know how many rounds of the micro feed = 1" of travel. Multiply this times the number of steps per rev. of the motor. Are the motor pulley and micro feed pulley 1-1. If not, this comes into play also. These will give give you your steps per inch. Or as you said, auto calibrate. That is probably a high ratio, ( the micro feed ) 10,000 steps per inch sounds reasonable.
