The F should be what ever you want the feed rate to be. If you want the othe rhtree axis to move to a location and then start the a axis rotating you should put it on another line like this.
G1 x1.0 y1.0 z1.0 f10
G1 a90 f10.

Monty,
    Go to your config, motor tuning and set them there. On exit you will be asked to flash to G100, click yes. It will flash and reboot. You will have to hit rediscover a couple of times and you should be good to go. Let me know if it doesn't work.

Another thought, I kinda cringe at saying it but, put it outside the cabinet, a lot of heat will go with it. I know a fellow that can make some neat covers out of acrylic.

It looks like you are coming along really well. Just remember, the reason mine is so small and tight is because of space. If I had the room, my cabinet would be as big as a bus or the space shuttle even.....................Hm hOOd.

I will have to agree with lee on them being touchy. There are a few things you can do to help that as well but even at best, its no MPG, but for 15 bucks, very nice and funcitional.

LOL Brian, we will see. I'm going to try and get to his place before the workshop and share the wealth of chaos I always seem to carry with me. He makes some really nice PC cases. I think hood will like his purpose for the machine. It has to do with overclocking.

You can look at the settings page, above the reset button, set steps per it will help.

    Here is how you do the math. I will give you mine as an example. What we need to know is, How many pulses from Mach will it take to move the machine 1 of your units? (inch,mm) Mine is in inches. 1 inch = 10,000 pulses on mine. This is how I came up with the number.
My steppers have 200 pulses per revolution. ( 360 degrees divided by 1.8 degrees = 200 )
Micro stepping = 10. So 200 X 10=2,000
Motor to screw gearing is 1-1. So 2,000 X 1=2,000
Screw lead is .200 of an inch. My screw will have to turn 5 rounds to move the nut 1". 1.0 divided by 0.200=5. So 2,000 X 5=10,000.
