Hey Guys,
    Backlash is a problem for machines that are weak. Especially in CV mode. I know it doesn't sound like much but here is how it works. On a machine that is already tuned to the max, backlash has to move the axis in the opposite direction, a certain distance in a certain amount of time + the backlash amount in the same amount of time. Raising your accel. will help this I think. Also, what is the backlash speed set to?

    So, you have been working. The ferry is looking good. I'm glad you got the motors figured out. Whenever you get the lathe running, I'm sure it will be nice.

    Looks like you don't have the latest firmware loaded to me and/or some network issues. I'm working on a set-up guide. I have those sections finished for the most part. I have sent you an e-mail.

You might want to look at these. They may work for what you want to do. I have never had to deal with this myself, but I think I remember someone using these for that. Not certain though. There is products out there to do this I know, I just can't think of the names right now.

Your debounce setting may help if you are picking up noise. You could set it to 2000 and see if it helps. Have you been through the file optimazation? That may be worth a try but I would do it as a last resort.
