I don't think DXFs can be imported directly into Mach any more. As far as lazy cam, I would download and install the latest Mach and the LC that comes with it. Back up your xml and any custom screen sets or macros you might have.

Gary, you lucky rascal, I only get to play with it when I go to my friends. I wish I had it. I don't know if it is that good, or he is just so good it makes look that way, but it is nice and very powerful.

Oh, I'm sorry. You want to enter it in the OEM Codes, external buttons.  I have attached a couple of screen shots to help. Look at trigger 1.

my cycle start switch is attached to at OEM Trig 1 in inputs/ports and pins along with 1000 in the hotkey window?

That is how you can do it. Not sure if I understand your question.

That's great! I play with it some and have seen work similar to this but don't know exactly how they do it. I hope to have a 4th axis some day and maybe I can figure that out. It is a powerful program if you know how to run it. My friend does amazing things with his. He is very good and knowledgeable in Artcam.

Wayne, I have never seen any work done with Artcam for a lathe, but had to Ask. I know very little of it, but have friend that is sharp, use to be a seller. I have a macro that I made with the help of others that will read posotion at time of tool change, go to tool change posotion as set in settings page, ask if you want to auto touch off tool and then goes back to where it was and starts running.

Yup, you will set it up as you did your cycle start. The switch you have can be used but I would use a momentary for it. I would rather have a locking switch on the e-stop too. Maybe you could swap them?
