That is a nice clean screen Gerry. I'd help test it if I had time but will be at least a few weeks before I could. Hopefully there will be some helpers come your way sooner than that.

Very good!  I really like seeing the odd aplications Mach is used on. Just proof of it's flexability. That is certainly a nice machine and 700 pieces a day............. that's great.

Rotten, rotten fellow.................. but, I understand and yes, it can be done. Would take some doings but it could automaticly add values to the wear every so often in time or total distance traveled I think.

Screen 4 is a program that you use to make or customize screens for Mach. It can be found in the downloads section at the top of this page.

A sticky is a topic that is allways at the top of a board. It will be one of the first few listed in the general discussion board in this case.

No reason to feel like a dunce, non of us were born knowing any of this, but your willing to learn. That is all you need to do well with Mach.

1. You can engrave in most anything. The type material will dictate the type machine and cutter to use.

2. Yes and no. Mach will not generate the g code itself but it does come with lazycam for generating code. It isn't as simple as importing a picture and then printing it with your machine though. Also might want to have a look at Vectrix software.

3. Sure is, Should be relatively simple to do.

Go to the youtube site and watch some of the machines in action. Also click on the suport tab at the top of this page and have a look at some of the tutorial videos and read the Mach manuals. Loads of information in those. Will give you an idea of what you will be doing. Youve already done step one and joined the forum. Lots of good people here to help.
