Thanks Lee, I won't be able to test. I don't have a xbox controller and I'm pushed for time right now. Maybe I can later but hopefully some of the others will test this for you sooner than I can.

How about screen shots of all the pages with highlighted areas containing links to a definition of what it does and other settings it may effect. Kind of a quick reference.
Also, one thing I would think would be really helpful would be the default screen sets with the buttons having a label telling their hot key and oem number.

It sounds like a real good possobility to me. The only way to know for sure is to dig into your screen set. If you have the buttons on the game pad set up the same as default keyboard strokes, you can try the standard screen set to help trouble shoot.

Lee, I'm guessing Rich would want to adjust it because the table moves opposite of the sticks. This is for good reason. Depending on the machine but say a gantry router where the spindle moves Vs a knee mill where the table moves. Following the right hand rule, to get to say the bottom left corner of the work area. The mechanical motion will look exactly opposite. If you were standing in front of both the gantry would come toward you and to the left to put the spindle over the bottom left corner. The mill table would move to the right and away from you to put the spindle over the bottom left corner. I opted to leave my gamepad set to follow the right hand rule (but it does get very confusing. It is easy to think of +s and -s when typing the numbers in but it's much harder to think of when driveing with a gamepad. When jogging with sticks, you're very seldom thinking of +s and -s. Your just watching the tool and where you want it to go. It is a hand eye thing.

Paul, the pokeys is not a replacement for the motion control sent by the PP or any other device like the Smooth Stepper. It is a add on for additional IO, not motion though. I have one but haven't hooked it up yet. I understand it does preety good at what it was made for.

The Mach driver is required if your running from the PP. If your using the SS (maybe others as well) you will not have to install the Mach driver. This is an added benefit as it reduces the load on your PC.

Do you have one of your buttons set up to place Mach in MPG step mode? You have to be careful when working with screens. I would guess you have assigned the hot key for jog step to something else and haveing two functions assigned to the same hotkey is freaking Mach out.
