Good idea Gary. Some (most) have had strange problems when setting up a SS if they copied or altered an existing XML for the SS. May not be your problem but I would suggest setting up a new XML anytime a ss is being installed then go from there.
John, it can be done but the best way to go about doing it will be up you guys. If you have enough IO with parallel ports it can be done with Macros. If you need more I/O, you may want to let a PLC handle the toolchanges and shake hands with Mach. That can be done too. It is deffinatly doable though.
I put this list up a while back. It is the default hotkeys. You can customise any screen set and change any hotkey to suite you though so there is nothing written in stone as to which would be most useful. It sounds like a neat product but to get maximum appeal, I think it needs to be programable. Is that doable?
If you are in table display mode, you will see the change. You can swap modes by pressing the display mode button under the toolpath window on the program run page of the default mill set.
