General Mach Discussion / Re: "X" axis NOT homing

It still sounds like your picking up noise to me.  Sometimes this can be a bear to eliminate.  There are many steps you can take to help eliminate noise and many, many things that can induce it.  Just for a test try this please.  On your config, general config page if you don't allready have a value in for debounce put 1000 in it and try to home your machine and see if it homes as it should.  I would not leave it at that but it will help us zero in on the problem.   Let us know how it goes.

You could set a home off distance in homing and limits or use a fixture offset which would be best I think.

Thanks so much for posting Mark.  I have hit Hood up a couple times on Skype in the past week and have been worried about the tosser.  Tell him to get to feeling better soon.  We all miss him.  Also sent you a PM Mark.

I'm guessing you may be picking up a little noise now.  Have you tried to add any debonce and see if that helps?  Moved any wires around or anythng to induce noise?

Your already in the range of your softlimits. You can't turn on softlimits when your in the area you set up in Config, homeing and limits.  You can set your home off distance to your softlimit max or min depending on which direction your homeing in.  Here is a screen shot and a link that may help in setting up if this is all new to you.

Jorge, It is allways  good idea to save a copy of your XML, and any of these you may have that are custom: Macros, Brains, PlugIns Screen sets and related bitmaps.  I also save a copy of my *****Lic.dat (licenses)files. All of these can be found in your Mach3 folder.

When you update Mach will recognize your licenses.

In the downloads link above, Mach and Lazycam, under the lockdown version you will see the development version.

XP pro will not be the problem.  Mach runs fine on XP pro.

General Mach Discussion / Re: Keygrabber improvements

Dave, I know what your saying.  I understand it that Keygrabber was an add on donated by users and I doubt it will ever be worked on again.  Im not sure if anyone has the source code.  I like it a lot myself but it has it limits.  Launching Mach through it by altering your shortcut shouldn't be one of them though.
