Doing what they said could not be done.......... again!  This is great Hood!  And, you can reverse at a different speed than you go in.......... this sounds very good.  How do you choose the forward and reversing speeds and/or the difference between them?  Is that set in gcode or the plugin or where?  Tell us more.

Scott, if do a plug-in, one feature that would be nice is for you to have the option to select the source of input to a default mode on exiting Mach.

Your Kernal speed won't matter if using the SS.  The debouce does not effect the SS either.  you will need to add your debounce or noise filtering in the SS config set up page.

What outputs do you have assigned to the M3 and M4 and what pins are those outputs mapped to? Also, what are your outputs set to for mist and then their pin assignment.

A wireless network has wreaked more havoic on my machine than anything hooked to it since or before and I try to break things.  I would get the blue screen of death.  I'm quite sure you have another process stepping in at some point........... what it is I don't know but do keeps us posted on your findings please.  Have you looked at the optimization file?  Most of it is rarely necessary any more but it will give you some ideas what to look for I think.

Scott, I would have used one last week if it were available    These are nice drives and I would imagine a lot of Mach users are running them.  I will need to be able to swap from serial to Di control and can with some on screen buttons.  I have one issue with that though, if the parameter is set for DI control it does not respect the Fwd/Rev signals as long as I still have serial communications established with the drive.  Also, the keyboard stop does not work like I would expect it to.  If sending serial run commands and I hit the keyboard stop, it hardly slows down and only for a split second.  I suspect this is because the serial is then sending the run command so I will have to look at ways to do an interlock to prevent this.

I use an out dated auto touch routine for the Z and a MPG with a piece of paper for x and y.  I have used a game controller for a pendant in the past.  You can also hit the tab key and adjust the MPG fly out and use key strokes but no idea what will apply with the DSPMC.

Unreal!    That's just tiny!  Take a picture of a set of calipers set to .025 for a visual.............. that picture is great but doesn't do it justice.  Maybe stretch a hair across the writing long ways?
