It touches off on the plate so if you try to go to 0 your going to have to go through your plate to get there. The script at the link touches the plate, sets position to what ever you set the plate thickness to in the script then backs off the plate to .250 form 0. Go to zero by commanding it in MDI or pressing the GoTo0 button. Just be sure to get your plate out of the way first.

You can set a home off distance in your homing and limits and modify the homing script to adjust the gantry for you. This can get a little bit tricky if your using soft limits. You would set the home off distance to whatever the gantry is out by and have the axis move to zero when it has finished its homing routine.

I have one that started out like that. Now she's 80 pounds and still thinks shes 5 obviously. She can sleep anywhere. Beside you, above you, under you, on top of you................... no matter as long as she's touching you. Sitting on my shoulder at the campfire.

One small thing that would have really helped, if the limits lights on the diagnostic page were sticky. That is, once its set, it remains set until its cleared.
A small momentary noise spike will trigger the limit, but there is no visual indication on the panel that such an event has occurred . That kept me wondering as to what the problem could be.

That's exactly how they work now. The led comes on when the input is active and turns off when it is deactivated. The problem is you either have bouncy switches or your picking up noise. This can have the same effect as turning the input on and off faster than you can see and/or faster than your graphics can update. Kind of hard to program for something that doesn't work as it should. If you had to add 4 caps to each input and set the debounce to 10 in the SS you need to look at the link in my first reply.

I'm not sure sivtek, been a long time since I had a play with it. I think Klauss has some information on his page at one of the links in earlier post. Check his site out and I think you will find what your looking for. I'm sure it has been discussed on this forum as well.
