Don't forget to enter "1"'s  in the second photo where it's circled and hit apply.

Karl,

What board are you using if it's the HobbyCNC Pro pin 2 is X dir and 3 is x step. I think the EZ board is reversed as you have it.

I'm gonna pack it in too Kristin. I hear my wife upstairs loading her gun. Thanks for you interest and your help.

Mine is allways loaded, it's when you hear the slide pulled back it's time to worry. Sure you will sort this out soon. Worst case is remove Mach completley and reload with your setup file again from the other PC, I had a wierd problem a few weeks back where if I opened Mach, moved the mouse everything locked up and I had to remove the program fully, just reloading it over the old did not fix it.

I will hang in for a while if you want to keep going. Too hot for dinner yet, and there is a sink full of dirty dishes I don't want to attack till it cools off.

Can you retest right at the PC port?  Also it may be a good time to go back to the Mach config ports and pins settings and see if everything is entered correctly there, step, direction pins and step and direction port.

Hood,

I am directionally challenged here but it looks like the pinout you posted is what we want and the google one is looking at inside out wiring side of the connector, so he may be testing the wrong pins.

Not wanting to further confuse the situation but can you type in a line of g-code and get the motors to move? Been following this for hours.

Dave,

Have you tried reinstalling the port in standard mode? Might be some conflict that installing the other way hits.

Bird,

Got a printer, see if the port works. Aw, Gee too simple of a test.
