General Mach Discussion / Minimum operating system?
« on: July 29, 2008, 01:39:23 AM »
Hokay,

Mach 3 says win2000 or XP, so what is the min for Mach2? Does NT4 qualify?

Reason I ask is I am having a He** of a time re-installing XP on the old laptop, I know either NT or win 2K would go easier.

Well the automatic Catfish Noodler will be a welcome addition, no more slipping off slippery rocks, gnawed knuckels and wet boots. Does it come with an underwater video system?

General Mach Discussion / Re: Wiring motors
« on: July 24, 2008, 05:51:27 PM »
Hi,
Thank you for your answer,

jouster one more thing please, on the drive it is written as this :

ZA ZA# ZB ZB#

the place where I have to wire the motors. I don not how to wire them and which wire goes to this place or another...

thank you again for your answer.

Robhi

Connect either red and black to ZA and ZA# and the white and green to ZB and ZB#, if the motors turn in the wrong direction just reverse one pair (red/black for example)

Robhi,

The data sheet for that motor shows the connections for series bipolar on page two, For BIPOLAR SERIES:
Join YELLOW A to BLUE C and insulate connection
Join PURPLE B to BROWN D and insulate connection
Winding One then equals RED and BLACK
Winding Two then equals WHITE and GREEN

You should be OK with that setup.

Travis,

That does the trick, now I need to beef up my motor mount as I can see it flexing so I need to box in the third side of my L shape bracket.

Just downloaded the "unstable" version and sure enough the wizard('s) are there! Sneaky Wizzards, a bad lot all of them always promising to turn lead into gold or some such!

Nope it's just not there. Loaded the lset screen and nothing in the wizards looks like you discribe.
