General Mach Discussion / Can I turn Off Cutter COmp on Mach 3 Side?
« on: January 25, 2007, 06:04:17 AM »
Hello,

I am having problems with the Cutter Comp on my Celtic Wine Racks....

I set it to "Comp Left" on the BobCad v20 program side and create the G-code. At some point when I am running it on my CNC machine the cutter comp seems to lose where it is going.

I know the basics only....Can I turn off the cutter comp somewhere in the "Config menu" on Mach 3 ???

thanks

Hello,

I live in Des Plaines Illinois and need someone to help me with my software & control box....

I make Irish and Celtic Wood Carvings and use my 30x30 machine to rough out my work.

My old computer fried and I am lost with getting everything back into working condition. I have installed mach 3 but need help getting the computer to talk to the control box.

If you live in the chicagoland area and woould like to help I would be more than happy to pay you for your time.

Best Regards,

Hello All,

I just downloaded Mach 2 on my new computer. I had it on my old computer which fried & I did not write down any of the ports and pins etc...

I use Mach 2 to rough out my Celtic wood carvings.

Can Someone please help with ports & pins, input signals, Outpus signals, output pins......I turn the porter cable router on manually, vacuum manually.

I recall from two years ago that there was not too much I had to program on the Mach side and I have all of the motor tuning already set.

Basically I just need the printer port stuff to send from the computer to the control box and any suggestions (aside from "write this down dummy")

Kindest Regards,

Bernie Fay

General Mach Discussion / Screen Works But won't run My CNC Maching
« on: August 06, 2006, 12:30:02 PM »
Hello All..

For some reason I screwed up my computer to control box.....The Mach 2 screen shows the x,y,z moving when I press the HOTKEYS but it will not move the CNC motors....I must have locked out something or pressed the wrong key.

I double checked all cables etc and still nothing.

I have been using Mach 2 for a long time for my Irish and Celtic Wood Carving Rough Outs and it is wonderful.

I cannot figure out what I locked out but any input will be greatly appreciated.

Kindest Regards,

Bernie Fay
