It's in Plasma mode with THC, so the Z is used for the torch up/down. Yep all referenced home. I'm going home now too! I will fight the demon in the morning. I think I can control the rapids with some macro's. If not, I'll shout! Guess I ain't buying the beers tonight. But if I'm out your way, I'll buy you a few rounds anyway! Cause I'm a good guy!

Whacko for goodness!

Ok, a diet soda then? With some Bourbon? Thanks for the reply Brett. No its when Mach executes a part program. With the g0 lines, the speed is the same as the feedrate. I got the max speed at 35 meters per minute in the motor tuning setup. The rapid feedrate set at 25 meters per minute.
After a g1 line, the g0 command to get to the next cut point is not a rapid traverse, just the same speed as the g1 feedrate. I had this one before, and fixed it, now I'm stuck between a Dead brain and a Brick wall. I just cant remeber what I did to fix it.

Ok, someone please tell me how to force the Rapid Traverse "G0" to travel at the max motor speed setting, or the rapid overide dro setting. I'll buy you a beer, or maybe two!

Seems like BigMir is really infectious! Stay away from Russian sites.

Glad to hear it's sorted! Funny enough, I use them keyboards, didn't hav a problem yet but I suspected that your keyboard could be the culprit. The keystrokes obviously interfered with Mach3 interupts, hence the noise on the servo's. What brand is your rubber keyboard?

If the PC is not old, it's odd that the hardrive needed a defrag. What can happen, if the ram installed on the PC is small and is shared as well by a onboard video driver, Windows will use the hardrive more often for cached memory, the pagefile with other words. If you have a led indicating hardrive activety, check if it is busy. The cure then is obviously to increase ram size. I find 1 gig ram saves a lot on the hardrive.

Let's hope it solved your problem.

Just a note, this is a 20khz circuit but works well down to 5KHZ. Although the schematic looks like a big circuit, it actually has a small footprint. If anyone wants the artwork for this, gimme a shout I'l post it

Have you checked if your country has customs duty on this equipment. That might be why the price is so high. The other thing to do is check ebay. Maybe even someone in your country has one up for sale.

Could be noise. It could be a faulty keyboard. Sticky keys. Check what happens if you turn of the typematic rate in the bios. Even repositioning the keyboard could help. I think you should first try another keyboard to eliminate a possible faulty keyboard.
