Thanks tweakie- so how did you do that?

For that matter how do you put one of these smileys into your letter??

By the way I like your avatar-- Do you like cats?
A stray cay has just had 3 kittens in the bottom of our garden
If you are nearby you can come and collect them - but they are
as wild as blazes

Fred get some food down there at regular intervals and they will get used to you.  In my yard and units i have a few wild cats that i feed regularly, and i have no rats or mice.

often with inverters there are several parameters that need to be changed to go above the default settings.

15
yes and yes.

The motor will run at 1425 rpm at 50hz, so increasing the frequency of the inverter you increase the speed of the motor.

The original inverter supplied with the orac would be set to  0-100hz.

16
to get 2000 rpm you'll need to run the inverter at 100hz or more.

if you want mach to work correctly there should be no other programs on the pc.

I'm sure someone will pipe up with "i run this program with no problems" but you should consider windows thinks this is a printer port, so any program that has the ability to access the port can cause havoc.

Computers are so cheap it's just stupid to have one for all, these days you'll pay more for a cutter than a pc.

are you using one pulse per revolution

sorry for the late reply guys, thanks for your help.
