Well done Scott. This one can compete with any commercial control panel out there. Looks very professional. Mach3 CNC keys have done the trick.

Looking nice so far. How big is it going to be. I've been planning to build one for quite some time. Maybe your project will be the catalyst for it. What plans for the spindle do you have.

Excellent. I could watch that working all day long.  ;D

(I think we would need to have a lot of guards around a machine like that under our health and safety legislation).

Tweakie.

Thank you Tweakie for the compliments. Unfortunately we don't have any such legislation here. Some multinational companies encourage you to follow safety guidelines though. I try to make my machines as safe as possible. The video is of very first trial run. For production runs we've installed many safety guards on the machine.

Show"N"Tell ( Your Machines) / 6 axis CNC tube bender

Last year finished an all electric tube bender. Using 2 parallel ports for it's 6 axes AC servos. The machine has 3 die positions and a wizard for creation of g-codes from L-R-A data for pipe bends. AC servo motors are used for all the axes movements as well as bending stroke, wiper die and pipe positioning for die change. Recently uploaded it's video on youtube. Here's the link http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tLw6qhW3wlA

Works in progress / Re: 4 axis screens for 800x600 display

Here is the complete 1024x768 screen set. It is similar to the previous KC05 except that it has the jogging screen which is suitable for touchscreens. Follow the instructions in previous posts for installation.

Looks really cool on the desktop pc. Not sure how would it look like in the workshop environment. Can we have a copy to try.

Nice looking screen. Clean, crisp and well arranged. One thing bothers me there is the location of the Reset button. It's too close to the Rewind button for a touch screen. User can accidentally hit it when going for rewind.

Color scheme and layout are excellent. I'd love to see other screens too when they are complete.

Klaus,

Is it possible to have grids in machscreen for ease of placement of objects. Or is it already there and I am too dumb to know :). I am downloading v1.44 and will give it a try for the new screen I have to develop. Thanks for the excellent support for your software.

You are right Scott. Machscreen is the best.

Luis,

Yes I designed the screens. Here's a snapshot of the screens. Do you need just the screens or the macros too. PM me or contact me direct at zafar@zafar.com.pk
