General Mach Discussion / Re: EStop problem/question

I focused the problem in some background noise in my ltp connection board, I think it's too close to the drivers.

Thanks

The led is ON when the button is pressed... though my circuit is normally closed I tested is right now with a gauge

Ok EStop is released, but when I press Reset (big red button flashing) nothing happen, it doesn't restart.
I think you meant "Reset"  not "Restart" right? otherwise, where is Restart button?

Yes I know that it's not the right way, but I need this thing  because if one of the 3 drivers fault, it can open the emergency pin and then stop the other 2 drivers.

My button and all my connection works, because in the diagnostic screen there's a feedback of it.

General Mach Discussion / EStop problem/question

I installed a new Emergency Stop button and connected to pin 11 (LPT), it's set as normally closed, so current flow untill an emergency occur.

In "ports and pin" windows I set anything to work with it, but mach 3 don't restore from emergency status.
In the "diagnosctic" screen, anything seems to work fine, emergency is disengaged... but mach doesn't reset from emergency status.

if i invert the pin setting to "low active" it works, but i have to keep the button pressed for makes mach run.
In the status bar, it keeps to say "External EStop Requested"...

Where i miss?

Thanks for all and sorry for my english  ;D.

General Mach Discussion / shuttle pro problem in version 2.45/2.47
« on: September 17, 2007, 11:36:11 AM »
Since I upgraded mach3 to rev 2.45, the shuttlepro's outer wheel doesn't work
The inner one works... as all the switches, but the outer one doesn't.
I tried to install the latest one 2.47, but nothing change.

Any solution?
Thanks

General Mach Discussion / Can't load flash screens
« on: September 05, 2007, 08:03:21 AM »
I'm new to flash screens world, I tried to load a flash screen but nothing happen, my screen become white and nothing else happen...

I installed windows as said in mach specification, so without other software installed, I need a flash player?

I use windows XP SP1, and mach3 V 2.42 with flash plug-in installed and enabled and my pc is well equipped
I tried to load that screen included in mach3 distribution, and Area51 screen but nothing change.
What I have to do?

This is a crosspost to flash screen section too

Thanks

I tried to set mach at 25khz but it says that the speed is too high for 25khz timing(7000 mm/min at 1600 Pulse Per Revolution)
So I set it to 35khz and it seams to work fine but at 6500 mm/min because 7000mm/min was still to high for 35khz (an allert windows advise me of that)

Now the question is, why at 45khz or more it doesn't work with that settings?
Now I'm sure that is not a stepper driver problem.
As i told i use a pentium 4 at 3ghz and 1gb of ram.
