Also, your motor tuning Steps Per is set way to high.

For the steps per for X and Y try 640.  If it moves to much then half that.  I say that because I done remember if I made my 3040 router XML file I have with 1.9 degree steppers or .8 steppers that are twice the resolution.
For Z try 800 or half that.
Velocity start with 1000 as your set in metric.  Accel slide the slider 3/4`s the way to the right.  Remember that when you make a change in one axis of the motor tuning YOU MUST CLICK THE "SAVE AXIS SETTINGS" BUTTON before going to the next axis.

Are your motors extremely hot?  Did you set the dip switches on the 5056D`s to the correct amps for your motors?

If so, try this, take switch 4 and flip it on then off 2 times within one second, you know the setting took if the motor makes a noise.

Larry the step port and dir port in your XML have to be set to port 1.  it tells mach3 which port to use for those pins.

the numbers will move in mach3 because its an open loop system, there is no feedback from the motors to tell mach "Hey, Im moving"   mach always assumes that its working.

what kind of switches do you have?  What do you mean "powered"?

Take a 2 wires, screw one to pin 15, the other to a ground on your breakout board.  Touch them together, the XYZ home Leds should light up if you enabled them, set them all to pin 15 and set the port to 1.

feedrate over ride I have found as of late has been pretty stable.  There was issues with it a few years back where it ignored motor tuning.  That I believe to have been solved.

So with that being said, what version of mach3 are you using?
What electronics are you using for motion?
I had the Xylotex cnc controller and it would allow horrible resonance into the motors.  It would build up, sound bad then finally stall the motors. I chased that down for a year or so.  Putting some sort of dampener on the motor solved the problem.

Does the video look and sound like what you are dealing with at all?
Pictures of the electronics and rest of the setup would help alot.

yes you set them all on the same pin number.  When you do that, the home LEDS will either all be off, or all be on.  If they are on, then you need to change the active low status for each one until they are all off.   Then manually trigger each one to verify operation.

When you home, the axis will move until it triggers the the switch, then reverse until the switch changes state.  Then move to the next axis.  Z, Y then X.
