I am planning to use an IBM Lenovo with a PCMCIA to Parallel adaptor.
I hope it works????
I am told I might need the file "memoryoverride.reg"
Is this just for Vista??

looks like it's back to school for me.
IBM Lenovo Z61m
It sounds like the usb is out but how about the printer port on a docking station, providing that the 5 volts is there?
I would need to buy the second dock.
I am trying to run a MaxNC closed loop system.
I design in solid works and hope to do some prototyping on a home built machine.
I am a designer and have done some work with VB and Galil.

I am a new user and am trying to setup a maxnc cl system on a laptop.
I have been in cnc for 30 years but I aint too smart on the PC side.
I want to use my system for my alter ego's of art and engineering.
my personal web sit is www.weatherlycustomdesigns.com.
check it out.
P/S is it possible to run the controller through the usb port of a laptop or do I need to use a docking station??????????????
