If you are using a 64bit PC then I doubt that you will be able to use the Parallel Port drivers even if your OS is 32bit.

USB is really not recommended considering the improved performance gained from using Ethernet.

It depends so much on your intended application but overall, in my opinion, the ESS from Warp 9 ticks most of the boxes.

Assuming you are using Mach3 - I don't think G84 was ever successfully implemented so there may be no fix
