May I suggest you do a bit or reading first http://www.machsupport.com/docs/Mach3Mill_Install_Config.pdf then ask questions on the bits you don't understand. This should be the quickest way to get it sorted as most questions here are answered quite quickly but you need to ask specific questions.

Sounds like it is electrical noise to me.

Another one of the little 3D Puzzle Insects, laser cut, just for a bit of fun.

These miniature 3D puzzles have, in a way, turned out to be a little bit like the "Turners Cube" - once friends see them, they want one for themselves so I have now had to make a few extra

Hi drivet,

Welcome to the forum.

Restarting after a 'brown-out' or sudden disconnection of power is risky at the best of times. There is no way to know exactly where the machine came to rest in relation to the GCode line number etc.
Probably the best procedure would be to restart the job completely from the beginning and then cut air until the program caught up with the work that had previously been completed. Even then it is only as good as your work's home / start positioning.

So you will remake it? I watched their process and was amazed as to how fast and simple it was.

That one did the trick. They like the border shape but the signs will be stuck in place (so no screw holes). Looks like I have got the job, which will be free of charge. 
(I have learnt quite a few Braille characters now but there is considerably more skill to reading the dots with a finger than I had ever imagined).

If you read through Chapter 5 this should explain the steps you need to take for everything to be set up correctly. http://www.machsupport.com/docs/Mach3Mill_Install_Config.pdf

In particular check that your parallel port address is correct.
