The file names will be the same just not the location, I was just going to match up file name for file name with the new location.

If you are going to keep exactly the same file names then that makes it a lot easier.

The first image in this thread is currently defined as being   http://www.skynetnz.com/blog/lathe/al54b.jpeg

How do you want the address for this image to read??

(presumably I can then modify all the following images in the same manner)

The server i kept all of my images on has been moved/shutdown, I have uploaded them all to photobucket instead, does anyone know how I can edit the posts with the new image addresses?

Yes, i'm agree with you, Mach3 cannot do the kinematics math, and i found it a pity.
This is the reason why i'm written this plugin.
So just for you, i posted a new video !!!

(A couple of years back I was having problems operating a machine at low temperatures and switched lubricant to Arctic grade jet turbine oil - everything worked beautifully until ambient temperatures started to rise (in the summertime) then I discovered 'stiction'. So lots to learn (at least for me) about the properties engineered into the various, purpose constructed, lubricants).

Just a thought...

If you stood your robot on a platform that is driven by stepper motors, slaved to the Y axis then Mach3 could have complete control of the X - Y movement. This way the Impact / Laser plugin could be used to produce the pictures you require.

The reasoning  behind the Hex/Oct core wire is to help keep the wrapping wire from unwinding under tension and changing the tonal qualities.

Good thinking Art - although it may be risky drilling a hole through a Peltier as it is my understanding that each of the individual elements are connected in series (see diagram). You may get away with a small hole but I think it would need to be at least 3mm dia. ?
