Absolutely nothing wrong with your English sir - it is just my opinion that the topic is controversial only because many people will have different views regarding the origin and home positions.

but if I change the Direction Active Low state in the Config. / Ports & Pins / Motor Outputs. it will be mirrored then?

If +X moves the cutter to the right of the workpiece and +Y moves the cutter to the rear of the workpiece then it will not be mirrored.

Whilst a few may have had some success with the TB6560 boards there are many who have had nothing but trouble.
Perhaps not what you want to hear but my advice, if you are serious about CNC and want a machine which performs well, is to look toward using a better quality controller and one where the manufacturer provides information, service and backup. One such option may be the Gecko G540 (or similar).

I think you are going to get lots of differing views on this (perhaps controversial) topic.

Whilst the medium to upper range CAD/CAM software allows the home position (X0, Y0) to be in any corner (including centre) the basic CAD/CAM packages generally only allow the home position to be in the bottom left corner.

In my opinion, your machine should be set-up with X0, Y0 in the bottom left corner of the work-piece with +X moving the cutter to the right of the work and +Y moving the cutter to the rear of the work ( Axis direction can be changed by altering the Direction Active Low state in Config. / Ports & Pins / Motor Outputs ).

Hi JR,

I guess something has gone wrong with your installation of Mach3.
Version .066 is probably not the best to be using (according to popular opinion) so I suggest you download version .062 then install that as administrator and see if that resolves the problem. Here is a direct link to the file ftp://ftp.machsupport.com/Mach3/Mach3Version3.043.062.exe

It should install directly over the top of your existing version but keep a safe copy of your license file (Mach1Lic.dat) and <your profile>.xml file just in case.

I am pleased for you.

If the Gcode I posted produces a mirror image then your axis is reversed – this can be corrected by changing the Direction Low Active state of the axis in Config / Ports & Pins / Motor Outputs.
The direction of an axis movement in relation to a key press can be changed by Config / System Hotkeys / Jog Hotkeys.

The point to remember about all this is that true axis movement is the direction the cutting tool moves in relation to the work piece rather than the actual direction of movement of the machine slides.

The controller board you have linked to is a Chinese replacement (almost certainly a rip-off) for the USB CNC motion controller manufactured by Planet CNC.

It will not work with Mach3 or Mach4.

The problem does relate to the ESS and it is believed to be caused by electrical noise. This same issue was discussed on the Warp9 forum a little while back in this thread

Assuming you are using the parallel port, do you have Port#1 enabled and is the Port Address set correctly ?
