Hi Wolfram,

I have no answer to that. 
The "port 1 pins current state" led's are bit of a mute point - sometimes they work and sometimes they don't.

I have not tried this but you could perhaps give it a try.

Using a Mach3 screen designer change the Cycle Start button from OEM to Execute VB Script.
Then within Mach3 insert into the Cycle Start button…

DoSpinCW()
DoOEMButton(1000)

That should turn on the spindle (as M3) then perform the Cycle Start.

To stop the spindle at program end then in Config. / General Config , check the ‘Turn off all outputs’ box in ‘Pgm End or M30 or Rewind’ box.

This is probably the wiring info you are missing.

Ignore the stepper motor wire colours shown here (check your motor to determine the correct A, A+, B, B+ wires).
At this stage do not connect the ENA wire.

You have a good point there and I agree, why would Mach3 need to reload a file it already has stored in memory.
However…
Over the years many things have been discovered that interfere with the smooth running of Mach3 and as a result recommendations have been made. One such recommendation is that GCode is only run from the local drive. You may be lucky and get away with running from a networked drive but you will be taking a chance. It is also a recommendation that the PC running Mach3 is not connected to a network or running any 3rd party background tasks. An integrated video card is also bad news for smooth running although this generally relates to longer GCode files than you are using.
Many of the “I have a problem” postings we see on the forum are as a result of issues just like these.

Hi Cubs,

Have you followed the installation instructions and set-up details for the Novusun controller ?

Try connecting a multimeter between the Com+ and Dix- terminals then when jogging the X axis the reading should change between 0V and 5V depending on jog direction. Does this occur ?

The colors of those jog buttons are fixed and do not change.

Which USB control board are you using ?
