Hi DIY,

It's nothing to do with using Mach3 in DEMO mode.

Scorpion.tap was prepared in metric (mm) units and the code contains the appropriate G21 command so it should have a dimension approx. 206mm x 235mm.

Could you please try the Axis Calibration feature (Settings page) and follow the on-screen instructions to check the calibration of your machine.

Perhaps check your Ports & Pins allocation for a conflict.
or
If your stepper drivers require an enable signal that you have not used the allocated pin for your laser control.

Try turning OFF Toolpath Display (Diagnostics screen).
If this makes a difference then it would suggest you need more graphics memory.

You need to follow the advice from the manufacturer of the particular board you are considering.

The Warp9 ESS for example needs a 5Volt dc supply and this is best provided by a separate unit (such as a mobile phone charger etc.).
