Sorry guys, my mistake - I was picking up the wrong .xml file at my end.

As John suspects, it could be bad pins on the parallel card or the BoB.

Of course, some idiot ordered the wrong tool holders and didn't notice, ER16 instead of ER20

Hi John,

Bottom right of the main Mach3 screen is your Profile.

Look in your mach3 folder for the file which has this Profile.xml

The M7/M9 commands are too slow for switching - it will create a 'dot' at the start and end of every line engraved. The M11/M10 commands were created to overcome this problem and that is really the direction you should be taking.

Hi LSGuy,

I have never had any problems using the G31 command ( my Auto Tool Zero is probably used >100 times a day ) but over the years many have reported difficulties of one sort or another. I don't think the exact reason for these problems will ever be discovered but I would be interested to hear from you if your problems return.

Hi Bennet,

You may need the 12V to 24Volt power supply for any of the BoB spindle control outputs to work correctly.

I think you need to use the P1-PWM terminal and a GND terminal then configure Mach3 with the PWM Output onto the LPT parallel port Pin1.

Looks like the .xml you posted is not the same one you are using - perhaps check that you do not have a couple of .xml files with similar names ?
