Hi Keith,

Lasers require a high switching speed (ON/OFF) to avoid creating ‘dots’ at the start and end of engraved lines etc. To this end the command set M11Px / M10Px was specially created for Mach3 and these commands switch the designated laser trigger pin at the exact moment of axis movement and totally avoid the problem.
Unfortunately the AKZ250 does not support these commands so you are limited to using a spare axis direction pin for laser switching. This is not difficult to achieve but overall you may find it a whole lot easier to switch to a supported motion controller (ESS perhaps) and use the M11Px / M10Px command set. Need a bit more information, what ebay seller ?

If you are referring to the sale of a Mach3 license on ebay then it will almost certainly be a scam or a pirate license. There is however a couple of Artsoft authorised resellers advertising on ebay so if you let me know the name of the seller I can confirm if they are genuine.

That pretty much explains it all.

In my view, if a manufacturers / suppliers fails to fully support their product then that is tantamount to an admission that their product is total crap and probably will never ever perform as intended.

There are a number of reputable manufacturer’s of Motion Controllers that do fully support their products and that is perhaps your direction forward.
I use both a Warp9 ESS and a Pokeys 57CNC – both have excellent customer support and excellent documentation - perhaps check out their websites.

The 12/24 Volt supply connects to the 24V and ACM/DCM (as appropriate) terminals.

I think you would be wise to contact the supplier of your board to obtain the full manual / instructions etc. before proceeding.
