Hi Brian,

Thanks for the continuing work...

Art mentioned a Shft-Ctrl left click for us two button mouse people for part rotation. I don't have it with LC in ver .017. Is it slated for the next greatest release?

Thanks again, Paul, Central OR

Hi Brian,

Noticed a couple of things...

With a simple part having four layers: four hole drill pattern, single hole drill, inside pocket and outside contour. The second layer drill hole behaves as though it is still tied to layer one when selected in the part view. When selected in the LayerTree Properties, it is not selected in the part view.

Also, when entering values in Layer/Object Properties, such as 5/16" (0.3125), it will only accept three place decimal values (0.312 with keystroke beep when trying to key the 5) even though it shows four place decimal values.

And for Benny... just found out the Attach function does not allow the new file type "*.LCam".

Mach Screens / Re: New Screen4 Mis-behavin'
« on: November 27, 2006, 02:45:54 AM »
That didn't work...

However, while clicking around, I discovered "phantom" buttons above the actual buttons (about 2.75" on my 1024x768 17" screen). When the "phantom" button is clicked, the original button moves up to that location and is then selectable.

This is strange!?!?!

I finally figured out after several reloads that the buttons work normally if I don't use the scroll bars. After I scroll down to edit the jog buttons on Page 50, the button locations don't follow the scroll. Also, even scrolling back up doesn't straighten things out. The buttons are not selectable as they were before scrolling.

Mach Screens / New Screen4 Mis-behavin'
« on: November 26, 2006, 03:54:26 PM »
I've been having problems with the new scrolling Screen4 (MachSupport Download Page)... While trying to assign hot-keys to Page 50 (MachSilverBluse.set), I can't select button properties with either right click or left double click. Occaisionally I get a properties dialog, but it's for the background image. Also, when left clicking on the buttons, the handles do not appear for any manipulation.

Oddly, one session allowed me to get access to the button dialogs, but after entering the hot-key the button object moved down about 32 pixels and wouldn't let me reselect it.

I downloaded the old non-scrolling Screen4 from the ArtSoft Download Page and installed it, and I can modify buttons normally.

Is there any known conflict with installed apps that would effect the behavior of the new Screen4?

General Mach Discussion / Re: mach turn od arc wizard

Hi Judah,

My setup is a P4, 2ghz, 1GB, Windows XP Pro SP2.

I'm currently running Mach3 ver RC2.0.013. When running Turn Wizards, I start Mach3 with "Mach3Turn.xml".

One more thing... I use my Numerical Ten Key Pad (right side of keyboard) for entering value signs (-), decimal point (.) and numbers... finishing with the "Enter" key on the bottom right corner. I don't know if there is any difference to the Wizard for which set of number keys are used?

On my setup, Z+ is towards the tailstock and X+ is towards me.

When using the turn wizards, I just key in negative (-) values for Z, in the entry fields, when describing cuts towards the headstock.

The "Mach3Taig2000.xml" on the FTP server is set for a non-existant screen set "MPS1024D.set".  That may be the proprietary OEM screen set provided by MicroProto when Mach3 is purchased with one of their systems.

As mentioned before, loading "1024.set" will provide a viewable screen... as well as the other screen sets available at the MachSupport download area.

Here's what I have assigned for my dual analog joystick gamepad. The functions are described in my recent post on the Yahoo Group.
