Yes, altough im starting to get worried that this might not work... In the 'port settings' tab in the device's configuration window (accessible from device-manager), there is a dropdown menu where I can choose between LPT1, LPT2... but LPT1 should lie at address 0x378 which doesnt work  :-\. Soo maybe theyre just adding "printing" (paper) support in their drivers via windows print facilities and not by passing good stuff to 0x378... Anyways, what pci cards do you have which works?.

General Mach Discussion / Mach3 with pci IO card controller
« on: October 20, 2007, 11:35:58 AM »
Hi, ive been using Mach3 with my laptop (which have inbuilt paralell port that works ok at address 0x378).
Recently I bought a IO controller card from STLabs (Sunsway) http://www.sunsway.com.hk/products/pci2s1p.html
for use with my rather modern stationary computer which lacks an inbuilt paralell port. I can get the serial ports to work ok (Ive programmed them to work with my
AVR mcu programmer). When I fire-up Mach3 I get no signals from the parport whatsoever (checked for pulses with oscilloscope). Anyone have any clues to why this could be or have been using any separate controller card successfully with mach3.
