Hello Craig,

I'm afraid I didn't describe my problem precisely enough. My problem is not my CNC control. I use Pokeys57CNC and it also works wonderfully with the current release of MACH4. My connected 3D measuring probe also works. With the new probing dialog of the current MACH4 release, for example, I can easily determine the center of a hole. In the current MACH4 release, this works either with the probing dialog or with the dialog behind the touch button. So far so good.

What I didn't find: how can I calibrate my 3D touch probe? It seems like there isn't a function for it anymore. And I don't want to rely on the manufacturer's information (2mm diameter of the measuring tip). There was a calibration feature in the 4xx builds.

So the idea was to export this dialog from the 4xx build and import it into the current build. Unfortunately MACH4 crashes during import.

I'm probably just blind and don't see the one button that leads me to calibration....

Hello community,

I had to reinstall MACH4 due to a system crash. I didn't have a backup (shame on me), but I did take screenshots of all configurations. So my new version of Mach4 was up and running within an hour. Now I have a backup :-)

Only: in the current version of Mach4, the Probe tab is missing in wx4.set and thus also the Calibration tab. There is now a separate screen for probing, but I couldn't find the option to calibrate my probe anywhere. How do I do that?

In my helplessness I installed an old version of Mach4 and exported the Probing Tab via the Screen Editor. When trying to import the export in the latest version of Mach4, Mach4 crashes.

So the question remains: how do I calibrate both my probe (3D touch probe) and my tool length sensor?

Maybe you have a hint for me.

Best regards
