I havent tried this myself yet, but I had the same thread going... same situation.
My new friend, Greg (formerly ill-percieved opposition:~)) pondered about it for 2 seconds,.. and said.. Wait! cant we could do this?
He promptly coupled up a couple of buttons to inputs and dedicated them to Z+ and Z -
As he ran "Roadrunner", the DRO's on Z went up and down . Admittedly, we were not running the machine... just checking the DRO's.
If THC can manipulate Z height in flight.. why cant buttons emulate the same?.. manually like when we use Oxyfuel?
Instead of hanging over the hot sheet and trying to prevent a "head Crash" which becomes intiresting to watch when the traverse is 15m/minover a 14meter plate and the nesting was done to cut "all over" to prevent plate warping :)
Thanx Greg, I hope it works in real time. I havent tried t yet

Mebee I also have not read the manuals.
Apart from that? I I have a "CLEAN" dxf drawing? it works like a charm

You also get the knowledge that you are supporting a guy who spends up to 14 hours a day on code, continually improving mach and charging nothing for updates. That in itself is reason enough.
My nick is Cheeky. But it is not my attitude.. it is a product.
I know quite a lot about designing and building aircraft. I have ventured into building CNC machines and if it were not for guys like you Benny and Art etc.. I would still be building pedal planes!
How many ways can one spell thank-you!

Thanks Ger21 and Chad. I cant do gcode so I dont know what youre talking about.(Spolit by Sheetcam)
Chad? where is the "second" speed you are referring to.
I worked on waterjet machines and I could specify the rate it slows down and speeds up in mm/min or whatever.
tnx again

How and where do I apply settings to make the feedrate slow down before a curve and speed back up after it? Can I adjust these settings?
