General Mach Discussion / Mach3 and spindle not working.
« on: November 25, 2019, 10:49:54 PM »
Hello everyone.
I am using Windows 10 on the Computer.
I installed Mach3 for the Router, and also installed a USB wireless control card
to run the WHBO4B pendant.  I can control all of the Axis X, Y, Z, and A
but I cannot turn on the spindle. The computer recognizes the machine,
and all of the drivers are working properly.
I followed the Fuling Converter instructions for setting up the PWM and controls.
I am not 100% sure that I have Mach 3 configured properly because all of the information
I am finding addresses the serial port installation.
If anyone has advice on parameters/ setup and configuration I would greatly appreciate
your help and input.
Thank you
Don

Hi Everyone, My Name is Don Sullivan
I am a retired Army SOF Paratrooper, 5/19th SFG(A),
I am also a Harley Davidson Master Technician.
We have 5 children and 7 grandchildren.
I am new to the CNC world, but I have a lot of experience
with manual machines and equipment.
I purchased a Weike 1325 Router with 4.5 kw spindle, vacuum
bed with a 9 inch by 7 foot rotary axis as well as a 150 watt C02 laser.
I know many people have the Ford / Chevy / Dodge opinion
when it comes to equipment, and I hold no Bias toward what equipment you have
and I ask the same of everyone here.
I hope everyone will understand if I ask questions that have been answered
before on the forum, but I would like the most current opinion from the members.
Thank you all, and I look forward to learning and sharing with everyone.   Don
