General Mach Discussion / Re: ATC with Mach3

Duh....ignore the last post. It occurred to me that I can just home the machine and start the milling operation like normal. The only thing changing is the ATC will be ignored. Thanks, Craig.

Thanks for the direction to go. Now is there any special settings to change in order to start the current milling operation from location 0,0 ?

Hi, I'm fairly new to CNC milling. I have a CNC Linear machine with an ATC using Mach 3 as the controller. I would like to be able to disable the ATC and manually run a milling routine starting from the home position 0,0. I'm not sure which settings to change in Mach 3 in order to do this. Any help would be immensely appreciated.

Hi, I too am fairly new at CNC milling. I use Mach 3 as the controller for a CNC Linear mill with an ATC. I would like to know how to disable the ATC and be able to manually start a milling routine with the tool in the home position 0,0. Some of my end mills are too long for the tool rack using the ATC. What settings in Mach 3 do I need to change in order to do the routine manually? Any help would be immensely appreciated.
