General Mach Discussion / Can only communicate with 1 Axis (UC100)
« on: July 29, 2017, 07:35:27 AM »
Hello @all,
I'm completly new. Going the first steps at cnc milling actually. I'm from germany, but the english speaking community is much bigger and i hope that i can learn a lot here.
I have a Stepcraft CNC milling machine. I want to control it with a UC100 motion control and mach3.
My problem:
I can only move 1 of the 3 axis. Normally it would be the X-Axis. But when i change the X and Y stepper it works too. So i think the steppers are working. I'm very unsure about the problem. Am I doing something wrong with mach3? Or is my board not working well? My Stepcraft is new.
I don't know mach3 very well, but please check my screenshots. For me it looks like not normal, that the diagnostic window is so empty (Port 1 current state is empty?!)
Thank you so much for any help!
