Mach3 under Vista / Re: mach3 constant velocity problem.
« on: June 05, 2021, 06:02:46 PM »
hello friends i have solved the problem. the problem was that the cv feedrate parameter was active and set to 1. I have disabled it and now it works like a charm. thank you very much to all. ;D ;D :D

don't have spindle feedback. A test that made me think that it is not working is to make a circle with 4 arcs, no matter what you set, it always makes a stop between one arc and the other. I have put look ahead in 200 and nothing, I have put cv tolerance in 1 and in 1000 and in both it works exactly the same. I use Windows 7, mach3 R3.043.066. these are the acceleration and velocity levels. X axis speed 2500 mm / min acceleration 100 mm / sec2 Axis y speed 2000 mm / min acceleration 100 mm / sec2 z axis speed 300 mm / min acceleration 30 mm / sec2

Mach3 under Vista / Mach3 backlash compensation
« on: June 04, 2021, 11:08:03 AM »

Hi friends. I would like to know if it is normal that when activating backlash compensation the axes move in a very strange way. I have a .25mm backlash in x and .7mm in Y (very big, I know) but the problem is that when I activate backlash compensation and change direction the movement starts to accelerate and then almost stops and accelerates again. also when I cut a straight figure the cut looks very good but when I make curves or circles it is as if I compensate the backlash by jumps, leaving some steps in the circle or curve. I know that compensating for the backlash in curves doesn't work very well but I don't think it's normal to see steps in the curve. I would appreciate any help.

Mach3 under Vista / mach3 constant velocity problem.
« on: June 04, 2021, 09:42:01 AM »

Hi friends. I am writing to you in case you can help me with my problem. I have mach3 v3 on window7, it works fine but constant velocity is not working. no matter how much the settings vary, it always behaves exactly the same. I have a homemade machine and the whole structure is heavy so my accelerations are not very high, constant velocity would allow me to operate at higher speeds. Thanks for your attention.

Thank you very much Tweaki, I will continue trying to see what happens.
One question, do you use the method of varying the feedrate also with the laser?
Greetings.

Hello, Tweakie.  :D
Thank you very much for answering. I will try to prove what you tell me. The drovopal program had already seen it and it seems great but it is a little complex to use it and configure it because I have no idea of Russian and the translation is not very good.
According to the manual the program generates a Lang.ini file encoded in UTF-8 and can be translated, that would be good but when I create it (in xp because in win10 it gives an error since it can not access that address) the file appears empty and I need it in Russian to put it in the translator since I have no idea how to type in Russian or how is the correct structure of that file.
If you could tell me your experience in pyrography (I do not have laser what I use is a hot resistance).
Thank you.

Hello tweakie, my name is Jose Antonio and I'm from Cuba.
I tried using the g-ray but I have a problem:
I am using for white 1500 mm / min and black 300mm / min but what I print always remains very dark because if it is white every time the speed is updated it seems that the match does not give time to reach that feedrate and it is lost.
For example if I have a line with pixels with the following feedrate sequence: F1100 F900 F1300 F1200 F1225 F1400, in fact what I get from feedrate output does not even reach 400 mm / min because it is as if it took a while to go from 0mm / min at 1100 mm / min. I know it's a problem in the match but I have no idea what it can be. I also have the acceleration of the axes to the maximum to avoid just that but nothing.
If you could help me, I'd really appreciate it.

PD: I've seen your official page and your posts in many cnc forums and your work is great. Congratulations.
Greetings from Cuba.
