I was wondering if anyone on here knows whether or not after Mach3 is install on PC can it be connected to a Gerber Sabre 408? The Gerber Sabre does read g-code, Cause I already have Artcam Express Software installed on the PC. and it is connect to the parallel port going to the electrical cabinet of the machine. But I want to install Mach3 as well to be able to send other jobs done on other 3d modeling software

First thank you for the timely response. Ok let me see if I understand, Just hit STOP? write down the GCODE where i stopped. what do you mean by typing in thr z dro change?  Do I jog the router away from the work piece and zero out Z axis? I'm a little confused on Z change or how you set it to 5mm when you hit stop?

Is there a way to stop in the middle of running mach3 and adjust the z axis ( or adjust the depth that im cutting at). and then continue cutting with my cnc? I'm cutting out detailed design logo's into wood. Sometimes the wood is slightly warped and half way through the job, I need to ne able to pause and set the depth or (z). Ay help would be great.
