General Mach Discussion / Estop after turning on spindle

Agree, there are a lot of opportunities to pick up RF. The great cables from the Gecko are compromised at the motor. Need to get that shielding as close to the motor.

I currently have my Gecko controller in a nice, fan cooled Bud Box and can monitor the temp with a standard temperature sensor and display, but I was always concerned that if the Gecko over heated, I may damage the unit. Soo.... I build an Arduino temp sensor that interacts with the Mach3 controller via a USB cable.  Basically, if the unit gets to 60 degrees, it cuts the feed by 50% in an attempt to reduce the heat load. If the Gecko still manages to get to 70 degrees, it cuts all motion and turns off the router.  Then it waits for the temp to fall below 60 degrees before turning the router back on, brings the feed speed back up, and resumes cutting.
