General Mach Discussion / Re: Axis movement
« on: October 14, 2017, 02:22:25 AM »
Dear Craig, Tweakie and Rich Thanks for the reply.
As Rich said, it is a Chinese controller( pl refer the attached .jpg image). I can move all the axis using that manual controller. Unfortunately, there is no physical movement of the axis via Mach 3. I tried to move all the axis by using jogging in the software (by using Tab function we can enable it in the software),  by giving commands in Manual data input (MDI) and by  running a G code program. There is no physical movement. However, the values in the software are changing.
What is the wrong?

General Mach Discussion / Input and Output
« on: January 17, 2017, 06:12:45 AM »
Hi all
I have mach 3 in two Computers. I want to sync these two mach 3 together. That means i want to send an output signal from mach 3 no1 and the another one has to receive it. After receiving the signal, mach 3 no 2 will activate a solenoid. Once it completed mach3 no 2 has to send an output signal to mach3 no 1 to perform other operations. Is it possible?
By means of a macro program I have tested the output pins and signals . All working fine. Now my doubt is how to check the input signals?
Please help me in this.
Thanks in advance.

VB and the development of wizards / Control of 2 USB relays via Mach 3
« on: December 22, 2016, 12:12:13 AM »
I have a sacra robot with 3 axis controlled by mach 3. The gripper of the robot is controlled by a  separate relay . Now i want to add two KMTronic USB relays to control two additional grippers to feed the sacra robot via mach 3 . Now the sequence is, once robot has reached the  location of my 1 gripper mach 3 should send a signal to activate  my 1 relay ( to open it). After picking the part , it needs to be activated again ( for  closing) . Again when robot has reached the  location of my 2 gripper mach 3 should send a signal to activate  my 2 relay after unloading  the part again it needs to be closed.
I can control 1 relay my M3 & M5. M1S macros. Now how to achieve  the second one? i read from the forum to use m666.m1s macros. yet it is unclear .
Please to help me to achieve this.
Thanks

General Mach Discussion / Adding usb relays in Mach3
« on: December 12, 2016, 01:50:01 AM »
Hi all
I am using mach3 in my scara robot. Now i want to add 2 KMtronic USB relays to control the 2 grippers. Actually it is a single channel relay. I have downloaded the DLL file can controll one by using M3&M5 ( as per their manual ).  How to control the other relay? I tried by M8 & M9 . but i couldn't. Please help me in this.

And also i want the mach 3 to send a signal to another pc ( mach 3)  to control these two relays separately. Is it possible? If yes how?

Thanks a lot in advance

Yes. You are right. I Checked the  continuity between them when it clicks ON and OFF. Then i used a separate  DC power supply for  the relay. Its working now. Thanks a lot for the info. Attached is the pic of my relay connections.

General Mach Discussion / Adding a Relay
« on: November 02, 2015, 06:26:08 AM »
Hi all
I am new to this forum.I have a HY-TB4DV-S  control board with MACH 3 for my CNC machine. In that, spindle motor is controlled by a separate unit. Now i want to add a 12 V DC relay with this control board and like to control the relay using M03, M04 and M05. After modifying the pin, port numbers and motor output without connecting the relay i tried with M03.  Now i am getting a 'click' Sound which refers the relay is activated, but i didn't get  any voltage in M1  ,M2 and  Ground pins of my controller. [/b]So, please tell me what is the error and how to solve it. attached is the photo of my control board.
