Hello,

I just made some tests and it seems there is an issue with my Pokeys plugin. When I remove all Pokeys files from the plugins directory the "Touch" button works. I noticed the same issue with the "Incremental Jpg Step" button.

Hello,

I'm just reading the "Mach4 Touch Module" PDF and would like to know, what I have to do to use it. If I click the "Touch" button nothing happens  (engine is enabled). The probe is configured in Mach4 Input-Signals. Can anybody help me?

best regards from Germany

Mach4 General Discussion / Strange behavior
« on: January 08, 2017, 03:59:52 AM »
Hello,

I've spent many hours to write a macro to import a .csv file but it doesn't work properly and I had no idea what went wong. ???

Eventually I noticed that the Lua I/O routines skipped lines that contain the german letter "ä". This letter appears in almost every line of the file because the german word for a milling tool is "Fräser". After replacing "ä" with "ä" (that's the string Mach4 use in tooltable.tls to represent "ä") everything went fine.

Mach4 General Discussion / Re: Tool Table Import?

Hi Steve,

thank you for your reply. I'm using VisualCAM and besides it's native format it can only export to .csv so I will have to take a look at LUA.

Mach4 General Discussion / Tool Table Import?

Hello,

my CAM can export its tool table as a .csv file. Is there a way to import this into Mach4? This could not only save a lot of typing but it also prevents from typing errors.

Hello,

I'm from Germany and english is not my native language. When I looked at the different screen set I noticed that there is a screen for "routers" and a screen for "mills". Can anyone explain in a few words the difference between routers and mills.

best regards from Germany

Hi Mauri,

I can't help you but that are good questions. I played around with the CV-Wizard with the Simulator and I can't figure out the mystery behind it. How do I have to use the settings for the angles? There must be something wrong in my thoughts. In one test all angles were set to the same number - 500 and I expected this would be the maximum feed rate but the feed rate went up to the max velocity set in Mach-Config. But now the tracking is perfect as far as I can see on the monitor. I have no idea what's going on. ???

Can anyone explain the usage of the the CV-Wizard?

regards from Germany
Klaus
