General Mach Discussion / Re: Xbox360 controller
« on: March 26, 2015, 03:57:09 AM »
Hello.
I didn't need the disk. I just plugged in the USB of the controller to the PC, Windows found the drivers and that was that, besides the plug-in install of course.
I'm running windows 7 (32 bit). It might be a driver issue. Can you check in the settings of the controller if you can see if the axis move in the configuration?

Best regards.

Hello.
Sorry for my late reply, have been away and couldn't access the PC of the CNC machine.
I'm back now and here is the XML file.  Hope it helps and that we can pin point the problem.

Best regards.

Hello all.
I've been reading this forum for quite a while now, so that I got to know what to expect from MACH3 and have gotten a really good base of understanding the in's and out's of MACH3. So we decided to build our own 3 axis mill with MACH3 control of course.
So far we are really satisfied with the performance of MACH3 and have done several machining's so far.

So for the question...
It happens quite often that after power up the direction of one of the axis changes. Let's say that yesterday all of the direction low active were unticked in the ports and pins configurations. And now today the Y axis is reversed so I have to tick the direction low active , so that the direction is like it should be.

What could cause this? Has anyone have a similar problem?

Best regards.

FAQs / Re: Setting Mach 3 Port to PCI parallel port address

Thank you for your reply.
I've tried with a diferent card and it has solved the problem. The ST labs PCI card did not work and now I have a Manhattan PCI express card inserted and it works again.

Cheers.

Hey guy's I have a PCI LPT card problem of my own to.
Somehow two inputs 11 and 13 stopped working on my MACH 3 machine. So I thought I would insert a PCI LPT card in to the computer and change the configuration of the Port in Mach3 and that it would solve my problem. Well partly it did all my inputs are now working, but unfortunatley the outputs that drive the motors don't work. When I try to move the an axis nothing happens. The DRO number increse and decreas.

This is the LPT confugiraton of the new LPT card.
I/O range BC00-BC07
I/O range B880-B887
Mem range: FEAFF000 - FEAFFFFFF

Any ideas? Not the correct driver for the PCI card perhaps?

Best regards
