Hi, did some testing with Radius correction milling small holes. (1.5mm) and small tool diameters. From experience with other CAM programs, this can be a challenge.

with M4 I loaded the attached nc file. v5_typ1.nc

- with a tool diameter of "0" the tool path is drawn exactly in the contour line of the drawing. (wich is correct)
- If I enter a tool diameter of 0.6mm the milling contour is drawn outside the drawing lines. See pic v5_mach4.png

BTW: with both M3 and cncgraf I can use tool diameter up to 1.2mm I know this a challenge for a CAM program.
I the attached file v5_mach3 you see the radius correction as it should be correctly. See pic v5_mach3.png
I have attached another screenshot drawn by another CAM Program which gives a better view how the mill part should look like. See pic_ v5_cncgraf.png

Q: is there a setting issue in M4 or a bug?

It may be in either full screen mode or the window (1024x768) is bigger than your monitor resolution.

In the view menu, there is a full screen toggle item.  If you screen res is too small, you will have to use the keyboard to resize it.

Thank you Steve,
it was my fault. Did not recognize Alt+Enter was the shortcut to solve this isue.

Hi,
downloaded the first time M4 (version 2067). I love what I see.
Unfortunately when I start m4 the outermost blue frame of the window is not showing up. (M4 is occupying the entire screen without the blue frame around.)
Therefore I can't resize the window. Any ideas how I can rectify it?
Thank Jakob
