PoKeys / Toggle button (on/off) for relay command
« on: January 06, 2016, 04:57:58 PM »
Hello,

i need to turn on and off with the same momentary button a relay on the CNCaddon to feed a fan for cooldown drivers.
I'm looking for how to do using Mach3 I/O or buttons.

I've find the way to turn on the relay pressing the button but it's not a stable button, and I need that the relay stay in duty until I press the button again.

thanks for help

PoKeys / monitor current and voltage used with pokeys
« on: February 18, 2015, 03:37:46 AM »
Hello,

I'm assembling new CNC control electronica using pokeys57E and the CNCAddon.
Would be great if it were possible, using some sensors like ACS712 and current divider to monitoring the inlet 220V AC in and the current used and the 68VDC trasformed and levelled and the current used by the motor drivers.

I know that some sensors for Arduino are suitable for pokeys and there is the possibility to write a Vbasic code to do it.

But I'm not very skilled to do it myself.

Someone has already done or can help me?

I put a picture of my new control box in assebling.

PoKeys / pokeys+cncaddon when Estop is pressed motors are feed
« on: February 15, 2015, 05:49:48 PM »
Hello,

I'm configuring a new electronic box for my cnc and I use pokeys57U and a CNCAddon.

When I press the E-stop or limits all stops immediately, (the E-stop is configured on a pin 24 of pokeys and Input I/O E-stop configured) but the motors are still feeded and enabled.

I need that when I stop the CNC the motors have to be not feeded and enabled, because sometime I leave it stopped for several time, and motors are very hot.

The last B.B. with parallel port do it, but I'm not able to configure this in pokeys and pulse engine.

How i can do it?

thanks

PoKeys / Re: Negative value in feed override using an encoder
« on: December 12, 2014, 05:23:46 PM »
hello,

I have upgrade the plugin and the firmware v3.1.42 , but the problem still present.
When i turn down the encoder to decrease feed override, it go down under zero in negative value.....

great! I hope you will go ahead to improve the plugin for Mach3, and not only for Mach4!!

Brains Development / Brain to solve negative SFRO
« on: November 13, 2014, 03:54:47 AM »
Hello,

I've used an encoder connected to a pokeys to change the Feed Override value and a button to reset it to 100%

But now I can set SFRO to 500% and over and set it to negative values like -100%
When it goes in negative feed nothing happens because the mill is still in hold position but it's not much nice to see.

How i can tell at Mach3 that the minumum SFRO is 0%?

May I use a brain to do it or there is a specific setting?

Someone can help me to write a brain? I'm not able to.
