General Mach Discussion / loading G code
« on: February 16, 2016, 07:56:50 PM »
Today I ran several new files through Sheetcam exactly as I have many times. When I went into Mach 3 to bring the files in, one at a time, to cut, the G code would not load.  I few lines did load but it is not the G code for the files.  I was able to cut the files by going straight from Sheetcam into Mach 3 immediately upon saving the file after posting.  I then tried to load G code from previously cut files, some of which I have cut many times, with the same result.  I must have inadvertently changed some setting, but cannot figure it out.  When I click on the file name to download the G code, just a few lines appear, but they are not the G code.  Any help is appreciated.  Thanks

Thanks, in this case there is plenty of room.  I have been struggling with this for weeks and am about to go mad.  I need to get my machine in operation.  I can do a simple, one with no sheetcam warnings, cut but am unfamiliar with using corel draw and my helper who knows corel draw, knows nothing about sheetcam amd mach3 and we have been unable to figure it out thus far.  I believe someone familiar with it all, could get me going quickly.

I need someone familiar with Sheetcam and Mach3 to help me get my drawings free from the "could not place leadins" and "all cut paths not generated" warnings and acceptable to Mach3. I will be glad to pay a good hourly rate. Someone within 200 miles of upstate SC would be perfect, if not we can work together by email. One-time help would be appreciated, but I would like to develop a long term arrangement beneficial to us both. Thanks.

I am located in NW South Carolina and am setting up a system.  I would like to make contact with someone within several hundred miles who is using Mach 3. I will do mostly plasma cutting and maybe some wood routing.  Using CandCNC and Precision Plasma.  Please contact me at jwiljrj@netscape,net or 803 533 8000.  Thanks, Jimmy Williams
