Hello Can you please help me. I've looked around and can't find anything in the forums. I just got a cnc 3020 machine and I'm using the trail version of Mach 3. After some problems I got all axis to work with the sample templates. My issue is how do i set it so that I can change the heights of wood?  For instance, I may want to cut on 1 inch thick wood or 3 inch or whatever. How can I change that so my bit is not running into the wood or better yet allowing the wood to get on the surface.

Thank you all in advance.

Hello,
I'm new here. I too am having Z-Axis problems. I figured I'd post is this forum as opposed to starting a new one. Hopefully it will help the next person. My issue is that I can't figure  out how to position my bit. Meaning, when I want to go from a 1 inch thick board to a 2 inch thick board how do I change the settings so that it starts an stay above 2 inches and vice versa. I have a CNC 3020.

Thank you for your help
