General Mach Discussion / Home command

Is there a way Mach3 can issue a home command by pulling low one of the unused output on the printer port?
My stepper motor controller can move the three axis to their respective home position and use the home input pin on the printer port to indicate that the axis are at their home position.
I use an embedded processor for the safety aspect and some basic function of a CNC milling machine.
