oh geez. thank a lot mate..
second question now.. i wanted to use a servodrive for my spindle instead of analog signal (like how the tutorial explained).. how can i pick the channel?
because the settings only allows us to change the channel for x y z and a b c..

cheers

Hi there,

just wondering if you use Mach3 as the software to run the CNC?
I tried to change my step/dir pins for my x,y,z axis but it stays at pin 1-6..
do you have any idea on how to change it?

cheers

CS-Lab / IP-S STEP/DIR Pin Change
« on: October 14, 2013, 09:25:29 PM »
Hi All,

I just bought an IP-S Controller.
followed the manual book that says I can pick any pin for my X,Y,Z axis' step/dir input..
somehow in my IP-S those pins are locked to pin# 1-6 so #1 as X step #2 as X dir and so on..
I tried to change the pin configuration through Mach3 but it stays the same.. although if i toggle the activelow setting it does toggle the voltage..

any idea how to fix this? should i reinstall everything? (as in mach3 and the cslab plugin?)

cheers
