General Mach Discussion / Re: output all settings as text

but there are so many screens!  that is the hardest part.  Since I didn't set this machine up originally, I don't know just how many subtle settings and windows there are.  I have started a note pad, but it is not the best way of course.  I saved up an old config as a fall back, but its unfortunate I can't just do a side by side.  I am moving over to LinuxCNC however, which may let me use git to control these, which is waaaaayyyyy overkill, but since they are all text and fairly legible, it seems reasonable. Haven't given up on mach3 yet since the learning curve w/ linuxcnc seems MUCH steeper, but we will know in a week or two for sure who is the winner.

So I have backed up my config files on a thumb drive.  I bough my mill with computer from a dude who had been using it a few years so I figure his setup is pretty close to what I want, although I keep finding a few very weird thigns in it.  I would love to document it/back it up as a physical printout, prefferably in the form of a list, with every possible setting laid out in front of me.  I know it would be about 2-3 pages long, but is there any way to do this? Or would I need to go window by window and manually record all that info.
