General Mach Discussion / TB6560 4 axis board_4th axis slave problems
« on: July 20, 2015, 01:45:37 AM »
Mach 3 was set up and A-axis was slaved.  All motors were tuned in and functioning correctly.  Disconnected everything to put board in cabinet and mounted motors.  Now everything is hooked up and A-axis is not working slaved.  swapped around motors and wires at board and all are good and function on x,y, and z, but not a.  Swapped for different DB25 cable and still no luck.  A-axis motor does get power and holds position.  However it doesn't move with the y axis.  When the controller board gets signals from any of the axises an l.e.d. will light up, but not for the a-axis.  Not sure how to test output of printer port or send another signal on the a-axis pin to see if it get a signal ?  Can I check for a voltage on the A-axis pin to see if computer is sending signal ?  Anyone have any suggestions ?  Bought a DB25 PCI card to go around onboard port, but won't receive until the end of the week.  Thanks in advance.

I know with windows 7 64bit the system is "protected" from unsigned drivers.  There is a way, a program that will put 64 bit in test mode.  Maybe that will help someone working on getting 64bit to work..
