The time has come to hang up this hobby, my wife and I are selling everything and heading down the road in our RV. I never got my Bridgeport mill finished, lot of money dumped in but never had the time to finish. I had most of the sheet metal and electrical cabinets painted, mounted Baldor servo motors, I,ve got a bunch of spares that I was going to use on the plasma machine. Most of the wiring is finished, Automation direct VFD, computer, 4th axix, lots of tool holders with cart, mounted keyboard, and cnc panel. Stainless coolant tank with new pump is included.  Also picked up a basket case lathe from Grizzly. Ball screws and slides, and 2 cnc turrets. 4 Rapid track 2-5ft and 2-13ft.  Galil motion control cards and the Galil DMC controls, vfd's relays, terminal strips, cable wire trays, and much more. I'd like to sell it as a package, but would consider splitting it up. $5000 takes it all.  Message for more pics.

PoKeys / Mach4 using 57E and kbd48CNC
« on: April 11, 2016, 04:52:06 PM »
I'm trying to bring my Bridgeport to life. Motion control is taken care by Vital Systems DSPMC/IP, I'm using a Poykeys 57E with kbd48CNC, and a pendant.
Is there any plug-in for the kbd48CNC, or even documentation. I've used the Pokeys wizard to set up the 57E and checked kbd48, but can't seam to make and thing happen with the keys. Do I have to map each key?

I'm setting up a Bridgeport mill with a Galil 4080 connected to 30A20ac Advance Motion Control. I will use -10/+10 vdc control between the 4080 and the 30a20ac. The 30a20ac has inputs to inhibit direction that can be used to prevent going in the wrong direction when backing off a limit. Should I hook them up, or will the software take care of this? The drive motor has a CFW-08 Weg drive, I can control it with -10/+10 vdc also, or order a serial rs485 card. What option would work best with my setup? I'm leaning toward the -10/+10vdc to the 4080 because it has extra axis and I will be putting an encoder on the spindle at some point. (After Mach 4 gets rigid tapping) How difficult will it be to use the i/o on the 4080? I have the option to use i/o on pokeys 56E that my PoNET kbd48CNC keyboard is connected to, if the Galil plug-in doesn't support extended i/o. Could I get the Galil plug-in to try out, who would I speak with?

Because my PC ID changed when I installed the latest version, it still didn't work even when I changed txt to dat. Didn't see any place on my profile to access a 2nd license.

6
Also the license file was looking for a dat file and only a txt file was emailed.

Same here and I also get a error. mcLua.mcc couldn't be removed (error0: the operation completed successfully) Guess Brian will be burning the midnight oil. No need to hurry on my part my mill isn't ready yet.

Mach4 General Discussion / Re: Comments about Mach4 in Demo
« on: April 28, 2014, 08:30:09 PM »
Are there systems requirements? I'm looking at using an Asus Vivo PC VM40B computer to Mach 4 on my Bridgeport.
Specs:
Processor: 1.5GHz Intel Celeron 1007U
Cache:    L3: 2MB
Memory: 4GB    Type: DDR3 SDRAM
Graphics Card    Type: Integrated
Installed: Intel HD Graphics
Hard Drive: 500GB 7200rpm
Operating System: Windows 8 (64-bit)
Want to use Galil DMC 4080 motion control.
and PoKeys 57E connected to PoNET kbd48CNC
Still using AMC drives to Baldor servo motors.
Hoping Galil plugin for Mach4 will not take too long.

All good things take time, some just a hell of a lot more then others. M4 should be great when it gets here.
